Don’t You Just Love The Tinkle Of Wind Chimes? |
Enjoy the sweet melody of wind chimes in your backyard; or on your patio, porch, or deck.
I have a large metal pipe wind chime on a shepherd’s hook by my fish pond. It serves as an alarm when the night is still. A hawk lives nearby in the woods by the lake down the road and often visits my backyard. When he sits on the top of the shepherd’s hook, the chimes sound and I know I have a visitor. So, I quickly open the back door to shoe it away. (The hawk likes to have fish for dinner.)
I have a friend who likes wind chimes so much he hangs them inside his house near the air conditioner and heat vents. When the fan comes on, so do the chimes! They are definitely a conversation piece.
There’s beauty in a wind chime. Sweet, delicate music!
Wind chimes can be put almost anywhere to add LIFE to even the most drab of backyards.
- Hang a wind chime under the eaves of your roof.
- Hang a wind chime on a tree branch.
- Hang a wind chime on a plant stand.
- Just HANG A WIND CHIME!
Wind chimes are created from various substances: bells, rods, ceramics, tubes, glass, wood, etc. – each giving its own gently unique sound.
Tending to a garden, reading on the deck, or just relaxing by closing your eyes… feel the comforting sound waves of a wind chime passing its aural effects through the air.
