Do You Need A Lawn Chair To Sit In?
Do You Need A Patio Chair? |
Patio chairs, lawn chairs, beach chairs, and deck chairs come in many shapes and substances. They all have one thing in common: They are water resistant.
People may think a chair is a chair is a chair. But a chair is NOT "just a chair". Some are more comfortable than others. And chairs are meant for different purposes.
Outdoor wooden chairs are made from teak, redwood, cedar, eucalyptus (shown below) and pine. These woods provide long lasting use and will weather well, standing up to sun and rain no matter where you live.
Hardwood chairs will give you years of wear! Outdoor wooden chairs can be painted, stained, or left natural which make them excellent choices to fit in with a person’s decor and landscape.
Canvas chairs conform to a person’s back and overall body shape. Canvas chairs, however, will fade or mold depending on storage and exposure to sun and rain. They are relatively inexpensive, fold-up and can be transported for camping and soccer games, etc. Every family should have a couple of folding canvas chairs.
Overstuffed chairs, such as the wicker one shown below, are nice for conversation on the deck or patio. Weather treated wicker chairs are comfortable and cozy when grouped with a patio set.
Lawn chairs, which can be lightweight plastic, polywood, or resin, are nice for just placing around the garden or under a tree. Because they are lightweight and often stackable, a lawn chair is easy to move around or pick up and store for the off-seaon, in the shed.
